Sportsvival is continuing its team-by-team look at the biggest needs in the 2026 NFL Draft, and the Tennessee Titans remain one of the more interesting teams near the top of the board. Tennessee holds the No. 4 overall pick after a 3–14 season, and the organization has already made major changes this offseason as it begins a new chapter under head coach Robert Saleh.
Additions:
QB Mitchell Trubisky, WR Wan’Dale Robinson, TE Daniel Bellinger, C Austin Schlottmann, G Cordell Volson, CB Joshua Williams, CB Cor’Dale Flott, CB Alontae Taylor, DL John Franklin-Myers, DL Jordan Elliott, EDGE Jermaine Johnson II, DL Solomon Thomas, P Tommy Townsend, WR Bryce Oliver, LS Morgan Cox, K Joey Slye, EDGE Jacob Martin, EDGE Malik Herring and S Jerrick Reed II.
Subtractions:
NT T’Vondre Sweat, C Lloyd Cushenberry III, S Xavier Woods and CB L’Jarius Sneed headline the departures, while Tennessee also moved on from a number of other veterans and depth pieces as part of its offseason roster reset.
The pattern in Tennessee’s offseason has been easy to spot. The Titans have been aggressive in adding veteran help across the roster, especially on defense, where Franklin-Myers, Jordan Elliott, Solomon Thomas, Jermaine Johnson, Jacob Martin and Malik Herring all strengthen the front. On offense, Trubisky adds experience at quarterback, Robinson gives the passing game another reliable target, and Bellinger, Volson and Schlottmann add support at tight end and along the interior offensive line.
The Titans also made a major statement off the field by unveiling new uniforms, helmets and logos as part of the franchise’s next chapter. Tennessee described the redesign as a bridge between the organization’s history and the direction it wants to take moving forward, creating a fresh identity as the roster continues to evolve.
Even after all of those moves, Tennessee still looks like a team with three clear draft priorities. Edge defender remains a top need because the Titans still lack a true centerpiece playmaker who can consistently disrupt opposing offenses. Wide receiver also remains in play, as Robinson helps but the offense could still benefit from another dynamic weapon for quarterback Cam Ward. Offensive line also remains on the radar as Tennessee continues to stabilize protection for its young quarterback.
That is why Sportsvival’s pick for Tennessee at No. 4 is Arvell Reese, LB/EDGE, Ohio State. Reese is one of the most explosive defensive prospects in the 2026 class, bringing rare range, speed and pass-rush upside from the linebacker position. His ability to attack downhill, close space quickly and impact both the run and passing game gives him the kind of defensive versatility that modern NFL defenses covet.
Reese would fit naturally into the aggressive defensive philosophy Saleh has built his career around. He has the speed to chase plays sideline-to-sideline, the burst to pressure quarterbacks when blitzing off the edge, and the instincts to develop into a centerpiece defender. In many ways, Reese projects as the type of hybrid linebacker who can stay on the field in every situation.
Adding Reese would also complement the defensive line additions Tennessee made this offseason. With Franklin-Myers and Simmons working inside and Jermaine Johnson providing edge pressure, Reese could operate as the fast, attacking second-level defender who ties the entire front together. That type of defensive structure could give the Titans a far more disruptive identity.
The Titans have made sweeping changes this offseason, reshaping the roster while embracing a fresh identity for the franchise. Now the draft gives Tennessee the chance to add one more cornerstone piece. If the Titans stay true to their offseason vision, Arvell Reese at No. 4 feels like the kind of selection that could help define the beginning of this new era.
